The Alpha course was developed in response to people who wanted to have the opportunity to investigate the claims of the Christian faith, including both new Christians and those who have made no Christian commitment at all. It is for anyone who would like to explore what Christian faith is all about. The Alpha course has been used by Christians in more than 160 countries and in over 100 different languages. Because it is about “the basics” of Christian faith, it has been used by churches all across the denominational and theological spectrum. Alpha enjoys the broadest use of any Bible study in history. It includes topics such as “Who is Jesus?” and “Why did Jesus have to die?” After the weekly presentation, group members will have the opportunity to ask and explore their questions together.
Alpha includes an over-night retreat at an area retreat center.
